ABC is a national association that unites and serves general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and industry professionals in promoting the construction industry and preserving free enterprise.
ABC is composed of individuals and firms like yourself, committed to the betterment of the industry in which they make a living. We provide a common meeting ground to promote free and open competition and our belief is that all contracts should be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder. ABC actively works to eliminate restrictive policies in all phases of public and private construction. With the help of full-time staff at both national and local level, this combined effort works together to serve the needs of all ABC Sierra Nevada Members.

A construction trade association established in 1977, representing all of Northern Nevada.
The Sierra Nevada chapter is one of the 79 chapters of the national Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC) established in 1950 and based in Rosslyn, Virginia, with more than 23,0000 member companies.
Nationally, approximately 84 percent of all construction workers are employed by Merit Shop contractors.
What Our Chapter Does
Sierra Nevada provides programs and services to help ensure that the needs of the merit shop contractors and the construction industry as a whole are adequately met and represented.
